Selects the first item in the panel.

refresh

Refreshes the panel.

repaint

getViewFromModel

public abstract java.lang.Object getViewFromModel(java.lang.Object model,
                                                  IconPanel ipanel)

Children should implement this in order to get a view from the model.

Parameters:

model - model associated with the view.

Returns:

the view object that can be set in this IconPanel.

removeView

public abstract void removeView(java.lang.Object view)

Clean up the view when it is discarded. It should remove all listeners so they won't leak.

Parameters:

view - the view to remove.

decorateFirstView

public java.awt.Component decorateFirstView(java.awt.Component comp)

Decorates the first view if necessary. Children can override this method to adds its own decoration.

decorateSecondView

public java.awt.Component decorateSecondView(java.awt.Component comp)

Decorates the second view if necessary. Children can override this method to adds its own decoration. By default this returns the component that got passed into this.

comp - component to decorate.
